Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

In the fifties, downtown Beaumont still buzzed with activity on a Friday night, and the center of attraction was the movies palace of the area, the Jefferson Theatre.
This nostalgic painting depicts one of those occasions, specifically, March 29th 1955, the artist's birthday. There's a new DeSoto on the left and on the right is the artist's first car - a 1941 Cadillac Series 75 Limosine, both classic cars of the 50s era.
A man on the right is reading a poster that advertises the movie "Battle Cry" at the Liberty Theatre. See if you can find the guy looking for a friend's arrival. He's wearing a white sport coat and a pink carnation!

In 1983 I wanted to do a painting of the Jefferson Theatre as I remembered as a kid. I picked my twelfth birthday and looked up which movie was playing that day in the Beaumont Enterprise microfilm collection at Lamar University. "Twist of Fate" starring Ginger Rogers was it. I remember like it was yesterday... The little black box of PRANG watercolors I received at Christmas when I was seven started me on a lifelong love of drawing and painting. Rendering the images of every comic book character from Mickey Mouse to Superman and Little Lulu furthered my art education. Little Golden Books, "The Color Kittens," taught me the basics of mixing colors. Then a magical experience happened! At the Jefferson Theater in downtown Beaumont, Texas (where I was born and raised), I saw Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
