After visiting Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I captured a snapshot of this scene along the North Saskatchewan River and knew instantly I would painted this scene to capture the essence of the waterfalls with aquamarine, emerald green, and blue waters. The canvas is filled with a lush forest backdrop, showcasing the vibrant shades of greenish blue water, while the cascading waterfalls take center stage.
The aquamarine waters sparkle in the sunlight, reflecting the sky's vivid blues. Various shades of blue to depict the depth and movement of the water as it rushes down the falls. You can almost hear the soothing sound of the water as it tumbles over rocks and into crystal-clear pools below.

I remember like it was yesterday... The little black box of PRANG watercolors I received at Christmas when I was seven started me on a lifelong love of drawing and painting. Rendering the images of every comic book character from Mickey Mouse to Superman and Little Lulu furthered my art education. Little Golden Books, "The Color Kittens," taught me the basics of mixing colors. Then a magical experience happened! At the Jefferson Theater in downtown Beaumont, Texas (where I was born and raised), I saw Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
